  1. Tom you need to sort out your labels so that your blog is easier to navigate. I suggest you move your labels to the right hand side of your home page as set out on the document I gave you about setting up your blog:

    G321 Preliminary Task
    G321 Thriller Research
    G321 Thriller Planning
    G321 Evaluation
    G322A TV Drama
    G322B Institutions and Audience

All your case studies about thriller films need to be filed under G321 Thriller Research.
Could you please sort this out as soon as you can. Thanks Tom.

  3. I removed my previous comment as it was related to your case study on The Good the Bad and the Ugly and Kill Bill 1.

Your comments about the establishment of Jackie Brown as an iconic independent character are clearly analysed with your references to camera angles and movement.

Your analysis of the characters of Louis Gara and Ordell Robbie is a little disorganised and not closely linked to how Tarantino uses and develops or challenges thriller conventions in these two clips.

I suggest you add another two slides, one analysing the representation of Ordell Robbie whilst also identifying and analysing how Tarantino uses and develops thriller conventions in this clip.

Then add a second slide analysing Louis Gara's behaviour (I like the point you make about Louis being nervous about his surroundings) whilst also explaining how Tarantino challenges thriller conventions regarding location and lighting in this clip.

Reference your coursework booklet re thriller conventions, in this case related to lighting, costume, objects and camera angles. I suggest you use screen shots and add captions for a more effective analysis.
